City of Turku

Turku in the South-western corner of Finland is the oldest city and the first capital of the whole country. Turku is a fascinating combination of both old and new. Connections to Finland and Turku

Flights are operated to Finland by about 20 international airlines from all parts of Europe and from many overseas destinations.

A direct service to Turku is run by SAS, Scandinavian Airline System. The flight time to Turku is 1 hour 35 minutes from Copenhagen and 45 minutes from Stockholm. Turku Airport is located only eight kilometres from the centre of Turku.

There are also several daily flights from Helsinki to Turku as well as a frequent express shuttle bus connection from the Helsinki Vantaa Airport to Turku city centre.

There are also train departures from Helsinki to Turku every hour during the daytime. The trip takes less than two hours.
